Python dictionary allows the use of a list as the value. That means you can define a dictionary with the list as a value to a key in Python.

keyName1 : value1,
keyName2: value2,

}

The values in a dict can be any Python object. The keys can be any hashable object.

Example dictionary with the list as the value in Python

A simple example code dictionary that has value as a list.

dict = {
    'C1': [10, 20, 30],
    'C2': [20, 30, 40]
}

print(dict)
print(type(dict))

Output:

Or

Add the list as a value to a dictionary

d = {}

d["list key"] = [1, 2, 3]
print(d)

Output: {‘list key’: [1, 2, 3]}
