Using UUID library

To create a random UUID…

1. Install

npm install uuid

2. Create a UUID (ES6 module syntax)

import { v4 as uuidv4 } from 'uuid';
uuidv4(); // ⇨ '9b1deb4d-3b7d-4bad-9bdd-2b0d7b3dcb6d'

… or using Common JS syntax:

Math.random built-in function

This example will return a unique combination of numbers.

Output: 19

Date.now another JavaScript built-in function

Using this way will return number of miliseconds elapsed since January 1, 1970.
